That is a nut and bolt with a washer. I am trying to figure out what is is though. I know it is something hooked to some asphalt.

Yep Stacey it’s a rusty bolt, though that’s concrete the item is bolted onto.
I’ll give it a couple more days and post the full pic for this one as the grey bit is going to be very hard to determine what it is.
We have a new camera waiting to be delivered, so will be able to add some more highly detailed images soon.

Sorry about the delay on this one, got busy. Have uploaded the full image. It’s a picture of a rusted bolt/nut that holes a railing over a small bridge.
